Michael Pullinger has been devoted to sustainability since before the turn of the millennium, where he spent his childhood playing in the bushland surrounding his home in Tasmania, Australia. Combining his devotion to sustainability with his love for technology, Michael made a decision to dedicate his career to clean energy, knowing it would be the defining challenge of his generation.
Michael is now the Owner and Principal of Energy Revolution Services and brings a decade of experience in hydropower, wind, energy efficiency, solar, green buildings, biogas and thermal energy projects. Michael hopes that his commitment to solving problems for Energy Revolution Services’ clients will leave a positive and sustainable legacy for his young daughter and her generation.

George Barnhart is recognized as an innovative leader. While George’s career spanned operations, administration, technology and strategic development, his passion was as an advocate, change agent and leader involved with foresight, innovation, and large scale transformations. In a previous position as Vice President of Strategic Development, George was afforded the opportunity to explore the future of energy and developed alternative business development scenarios to align with systemic trends.
Through a business-oriented, results-focused lens, George sees sustainability as an emerging opportunity to achieve goals of efficiency, effectiveness, growth and competitive advantage. George is committed to offering his skills, expertise, experience and knowledge to the community. He has been a volunteer mentor for adult students in MBA and Master of Leadership programs for many years. He also provides pro-bono services to not-for-profit and community based organizations.

Clare Kirkland has focused on economic, organization, and technology innovation throughout his career. He knows success follows from concentration on all its necessary conditions for each specific initiative. Clare sees many analogies between his experience during the IT revolution of the last three decades and the clean energy revolution now well underway around the world. The general trends are predictable but the specific innovations will surprise us. Universal organizational and leadership requirements will be as important in clean energy as any historic transformation. Clean energy seems unique in the degree of stakeholder engagement and organizational innovation required – two of Clare’s proven competencies.
