Building and Industrial Facility Energy Audits

We perform energy efficiency audits (energy audits) of all building and industrial facility types. Our recent experience includes:

• Commercial building energy audits including.
• Institutional building energy audits, including educational and healthcare.
• Residential building energy audits including multi-unit residential buildings such as condominiums, apartments, and townhouses.
• Industrial energy audits, with our experience including food production, data centres, mining, and municipal water supply.

Our energy audit process aims to identify your best opportunities to reduce energy waste and cut operating costs, all within the practical limits of your existing operating processes. We follow best practice industry methodology such as ASHRAE Level I, ASHRAE Level II and ASHRAE Level III energy audit methods.

Energy Modelling - Efficient Buildings

Building standards are demanding more and more efficiency. You need to demonstrate that you comply with building codes, while also ensuring that your new or refurbished building is optimised to deliver the best efficiency for the lowest cost.
We are able to provide the following services to your project:

• Optimisation of mechanical systems design to maximise efficiency.
• Assessment of energy efficiency retrofit opportunities to determine return on investment for mechanical, lighting, controls and envelope upgrades.
• Validation of greenhouse gas reduction and electrification opportunities.
• Preparation of energy models to meet compliance requirements.

Project Implementation and Commissioning

We oversee and monitor energy project during their implementation, including:

• Preparation of performance specifications for key equipment such as renewable energy devices, energy storage, energy monitoring, and HVAC.
• Oversight of procurement, detailed design, and installation of systems.
• Oversight during commissioning of systems, as either lead engineer, or specialist reviewer.
• Ongoing Measurement and Verification (M&V) of performance of systems during operation.
• Retro-commissioning and ongoing performance improvement.
